A good run with 6 bikes and 7 folk, those I knew were Robert (pink Honda), Andy and Alan Suzuki 1400, Graham 600 Bandit, Johnnie 600 Honda, Big Andy and Stephen on 800 Honda.
Weather could have been better, but it was a decent start at about 10:15 ish and off to TYndrum via Aberfoyle and Callendar, good meal in the Green Welly at Tyndrum and then back down the Lochside and coffee at Luss, then home, although some of the boys headed off to Largs.
Good run with no mishaps!

Graham in is "Bunny Boy" suit, complete with fluffy tail..
About 15 bikes headed off from Morrisons car park to the Easter Egg run in Glasgow. We went through Paisley to meet at the BAE Systems car park or the off as some of the guys were on 125's.
It was busy enough with about 5,000 bikes there, but my own Honda started to overheat badly and I left for home rather than join the parade. It was just as well as I think a few other bikes alos suffered with overheating.
From what I have been told the run itself was very short and the Police / Glasgow Council seemed to have ruined what was a very good event. I think a small protest demo also took place about this.
However it was for a very good cause so well doen to all who took part!

The ferry is booked and are leaving on Saturday 9th of May until Sunday 17th May. Andy has done the ferry bookings and Alex has sorted out the trike.
So next item is to sort out a route and arrange some campsites.
We intend to get round to near the race track on Friday 15th May and meet up with Jim Feenie who is coming over jus for the races. If you want to join Jim you will need to get the ferry booked soon.

Really good weekend in Portpatrick. Paul Keenan, John Watson and Donna Watson arrived on the Friday were joined by Michael Squires, Martin Crone and Stephen McKenzie on Saturday
Weather was ok, camp site fine and Portpatrick had plenty of boozers.. The campsite seemed to have a few as well. Paul seemed to enjoy wee sleeps with a beer in his hand! Never spilled a drop either - true class
However Michael did open up a bit on his "past adventures" as we toured the establishments in Portpatrick - I wont say any more at this point until I take legal advice and get tooled up incase of reprisals, but who amongst is without sin (apart from Lori Nish). Even Jimmy Boyle put his past behind him after a spell in Peterhead.
Good run back on Sunday although it started to rain a bit and Martin and Stephen had to get off their bikes and reverse back down a steep hill in Kilwinning - not easy when they are fully loaded up with camping gear.. This was after some traffic lights failed at road works and both sets of queues headed off at the same time and met in the middle.

This went well! We all got to Stronachlachor - or at least thats were I think we were? It had a wee pier and cafe if that helps, and it was down a single track road from Aberfoyle.
Stephen McKenzie, Andy Baird, Carolanne Laird, Paul Keenan, John Rowe, Hugh Mcquiston, John Watson and his daughter Nicole all had plenty to eat and there were a few Stella's to wash it down.
No rain, midges or food poisoning!
Sorry to haer that John Watson and his daughter Nicole were knocked off their bike on the way back from the Bar B Que when going through Paisley, both John and Nicole are a bit damanged but nothing serious. The Kawasaki is a write off..
A happy bunch of old Strathgryffe tossers giving motorcycling a bad name.
Left to Right Hugh McQuiston, Paul Keenan, John Watson, John Rowe, Nicole Watson and Stephen McKenzie. Andy Baird and Carolanne Laird were also there

Folk taking part in some pretty foul weather were: Hugh McQuiston, Paul Keenan, John Rowe, Stephen McKenzie plus John Watson had to turn back as his bike was overheating and Andy Baird followed the competitors as a travelling marshal.
Route was through Largs, to Gourock, ferry to Dunoon, round to the Pit Stop in Arrocher for some grub. Picking up answers to questions on the way.
Weather was sometimes belting it down and then like Largs, the sun was really shining! The club paid for the ferry crossings and it was agreed that it had been a great event! Thanks again Andy for organising
Hugh McQuiston sets off into the rain..

6 bikes and 8 folk in all; Michael Squires on a Ducati ST4, Andy Baird and Carolanne Laird on a Suzuki 1100, Lori Nish a KTM NC8, Stephen McKenzie a Suzuki GS500. We picked up Paul and Alex on an Aprilia SL 1000 Falco and John Watson on a Kawasaki GPz 1000 in Strathhaven on route.
Run down was fine and it was strange to be on bits of the old A74, good to see the Red Moss hotel still going!
Casle was ok, but a few of us decided to just park in the grounds rather than pay for the tour of the castle. The club paid for the grub and lots of bacon rolls, pies, tea and coffees later!
About half set off for home about 2:30 and the rest went for the tour of the castle. Mileage for the run about 165
A good run and some cracking roads.
Left to right: Stephen McKenzie, Carolanne Larid, Andy Baird, Michael Squires, Paul Keenan, Lori Nish, John Watson

Reason turn out for this run through to Kickcaldy, entrance was free and the grub was good I am told!
What was the old start line for the races that used to take part through the council park!

Good run, only two members took part - Andy Baird and Stephen McKenzie.
Sunshine! 10 minutes later howling it down!
Weather was mixed, sometimes brilliant sunshine, then heavy showers, then steam off the road! Had a bite to eat at Suzies cafe in Tighnabruich although the portions could have been bigger..
Andy bought a fridge magnet for Carolanne, which I thought was a very nice touch and brings out the best of Andy.
Back via Dunoon to catch the ferry and home. A good run.

Regular Club members were stunned when we hit the 20 members mark on Monday 23rd when Jim Fernie from Brierie Hills, Houston, paid his membership cash, no questions asked..
Jim has a SV650 Suzuki.
"Roll on the good times", beamed Chairman Alex Rankin

Michael has got a batch of these printed, so if you would like some to publicise the club see Michael

Marion from Kilbirnie has joined the Club and why not. The club holds boundless opportunities for single young women and we are not sexist at all. Well Andy Baird might be, just a shade.

A good run up to the Rest and be Thankful for a cup of tea and allow the rain to start and then onto Carrick Castle. Not a lot there it has to be said but it made us more determined to get something to eat!
So off to the Stagecoach Inn and Cairndow for some grub
Michael Squires out on the new Ducati ST no incidents to report yet!
Rest and be Thankfull car park
Left to right: John Rowe, Donna Watson, Michael Squires, Stephen McKenzie, Andy Baird, John Watson took the picture (badly..)

John Rowe giving it everything its got..

Left to right: Stephen McKenzie, John Hamilton, John Rowe, Sue Coombes

Great Rally, brilliant sunshine (apart from the frost during the night..), band was great and location and food superb. go to event photos right now!!!.

A wonderful evening of thrills, spills and danger and that was John Waton. The men again won showing that whel it comes to handling big balls it just frightens the ladies. Scores will be posted soon.
A hoot from start to finish! Organised by Sue Coombes, and all the more fun due to John Watson's antics with the equivalent of the bouncing bomb. John's first shot ended in a move that would shame a Russian gymnast due to it's bodily twists and turns, ending on his arse. thanks John.
Stephen McKenzie also contributed with his Fred Astair dance moves after every release of the ball, and not forgetting Iain Morton who had a "seafaring night" coz, he spent a lot of time in the channel, but also got some strikes as well.
John Hamilton fetched the drink. Iain Morton paid for it - £27.30 cash as well!...
Kelso weekend ( 2006 ) where some of the members were marshals, weather was brilliant, over 17,000 people attended the event.

Iain Morton and Alex Rankin checking the consistency of the beer.. (again and again..)
